Iceberg User Guide

Welcome to Iceberg; a revolutionary new way of creating and using powerful applications. Applications made in Iceberg are intuitve enough to be used without any training. The purpose of this guide, however, is to teach you how you can design and create these applications for yourself.

This guide is broken up into 8 main sections, which will be constantly revised with the most up-to-date information.

The Getting Started section will introduce you to how Iceberg works and how you can use Iceberg to quickly build and manage powerful business applications.

The How To... section will go into detail on some of Iceberg's specific funtionality. Here you will be shown how you can use some of Iceberg's advanced funtions in your applications.

 

 

3. Building the Interface

Building the Interface will teach you how to create your applications's interface. Here you will learn about creating Forms and designing custom Dashboards. Here you will also learn about Reports and Views and how they can be useful to you.

 

 

4. Building Workflow

The Building Workflow section of this guide will instruct you in how to use Iceberg's Process Designer to design and build processes in your Iceberg Application.

 

 

5. Administration

Iceberg has many powerful administrative controls. In the Administration section, you will learn how you, as administrator, can take control over your applications and manage your user accounts.

 

 

6. Security and Permissions

The Security and Permissions part of this guide will teach you how to use Icebergs security settings and ensure the privacy of your work.

 

 

7. Using Applications

Iceberg is a platform on which we build applications. However, beyond this, Iceberg is also a tool for running Iceberg applications and sharing them among other Iceberg users. In Using Applications, you will learn all about using your applications in a real-world environment.

 

 

8. Using Web Services

Iceberg's has the ability to use Web Services to call and send information from the Internet. In Using Web Services you will learn how to add this ability to your applications.
